SkyQuest is an airline branding project that focuses on creating a dynamic and adventurous visual identity for solo travelers and couples seeking unique experiences. The brand aims to bridge the gap between affordable flights and curated getaway packages tailored for exploration and adventure.

My Approach

I focused on creating an experience-driven brand that captures the excitement of travel while staying approachable and professional. By using dynamic shapes and vibrant colors, I aimed to evoke a sense of movement and exploration. Storytelling was at the core of the design, ensuring every element—from the logo to the mockups—felt cohesive and reflected SkyQuest’s adventurous spirit.

Unique Challenges

Airline brands often lack a balance between affordability, adventure, and premium services. The task was to create a cohesive visual identity that caters to the growing market of adventure-loving and eco-conscious travelers while maintaining a sleek and approachable aesthetic.

The Process

Research & Strategy

  • Conducted market analysis to identify gaps in the adventure travel sector.

  • Analyzed competitors like Spirit and Southwest, focusing on their travel packages.

  • Defined SkyQuest’s target audience: eco-conscious, adventure-seeking solo travelers and couples aged 21–45.

Concept Development

  • Created mood boards to explore adventurous and sophisticated aesthetics.

  • Focused on themes of exploration, freedom, and dynamic movement.

  • Selected a vibrant color palette with blues and oranges to evoke trust, excitement, and warmth.

Visual Identity Creation

  • Developed logo concepts inspired by flight paths and horizons, emphasizing movement and adventure.

  • Designed a versatile logo system, including primary marks, icon versions, and stamp variants.

  • Crafted typography that balances modernity with approachability using fonts like Montserrat and Skia.
